COVID-19 Notice: We would like to reassure our clients that Beechwood remains open for face to face and telephone support. We have measures in place at the Centre to ensure the safety of our clients and team. If you, or someone you know, requires support due to diagnosis or bereavement please contact the Centre on 0161 476 0384.
Events are vital to supporting our work at Beechwood by raising awareness about what we do and funding our work to continue to support our patients and their loved ones.
We host large annual events such as our Ladies Lunch, Butterfly Ball, Golf Day and Man@Manchester comedy afternoon. These are often supported by celebrity guests who give their time to champion the charity’s cause. At our events, you can be assured of a great time, an opportunity to take some time out, whilst learning more about our clients and how we support them.
These events are for everybody to enjoy, both clients and supporters of the cause. It’s a great chance to socialise and meet people benefitting from our services at Beechwood. The events are essential to us as they generate funds to enable us to continue our work. At the same time, they’re also great for bringing everyone together for a joyous occasion where we can celebrate and reflect.
We also run smaller events throughout the year, which are equally as important and hugely enjoyable. Many community events are held at Beechwood’s Centre or other regional venues, where we get together to celebrate the support provided to us from members of local communities. A good time is had by all and the events themselves are often delivered with the help of local supporters and volunteers – bringing a great sense of community cohesion.
If you would like to hold an event for us or find out when our next large fundraising event is, please contact us.
