The role of a carer can have a profound emotional impact. We provide a safe environment and an opportunity to explore how your caring role is affecting you.

Support for Children and Young People

Life with cancer can be full of challenging moments that can put a strain on a family, and it can sometimes be difficult to communicate effectively and sensitively with each other. Beechwood offers support in whatever way suits your children's needs.

About Beechwood

Beechwood Cancer Care Centre

Beechwood offers support to those living with cancer as well as their relatives and carers. We first began offering cancer care back in 1990, and since then, our Centre has helped many people.

We understand how cancer and illness can affect someone’s life, and we also know how helpful it can be to talk with other clients and carers.

Visitors to our Centre can choose from a range of support, including:

  • One-to-one counselling sessions
  • Complementary therapies
  • Group sessions with other clients/carers

We can help with every stage of illness, and our Centre visitors include those who have just been diagnosed and need a listening ear, people at different stages of treatment and those ready to move on following treatment.
