Nutrition And Diet

Having cancer and cancer treatment can affect the way your body uses nutrients. Eating and drinking well will help maintain a healthy weight and provide the vitamins and nutrients that your body needs. A nutritious diet helps maintain weight. It also helps with the emotional aspects of illness and periods of treatment and recovery.

For those whose illness and/or treatment makes it difficult to eat, or experience a loss of appetite, it is even more essential to find ways to fuel your body in the right way and ensure your body is hydrated.

Our nutrition and diet workshop will help you find ways to incorporate a healthy balanced diet into your daily life.

What to expect:

  • Gain knowledge about the nutritional value of everyday foods.
  • Be a part of a supportive environment.
  • Worksheets to better support your diet.
  • Useful advice tailored to your own needs.
