COVID-19 Notice: We would like to reassure our clients that Beechwood remains open for face to face and telephone support. At Beechwood, we’re dedicated to supporting anyone affected by a life-limiting illness. We offer flexible wrap-around support programmes tailored to each client's needs. We know living through a diagnosis isn’t easy. That’s why we’re here – to help you, and those closest to you, find the new normal.
Beechwood is a registered charity based in Stockport. Since 1990, we have provided bespoke support to people living through or affected by, a life-limiting illness.
In our work, we always take the time to get to know our clients and understand their circumstances, concerns, and priorities. This understanding enables us to create the right blend of support for each client. We offer a range of services in our care packages such as professional counselling, complementary therapies, discussion groups and one-to-one support.
It’s important that we’re also available to support carers, families, and loved ones. We aim to provide an ongoing support network, helping people connect with others in similar situations.
At Beechwood you’re welcome to give and take as much or as little as you need from our community of clients, families and professionals. We provide safe spaces and opportunities to help you draw from the support of others in the same position, build friendships, and access the professional services that work for you. All our services are free from the point of need so that we can provide care to anyone who needs us.
