COVID-19 Notice: We would like to reassure our clients that Beechwood remains open for face to face and telephone support. We have measures in place at the Centre to ensure the safety of our clients and team. If you, or someone you know, requires support due to diagnosis or bereavement please contact the Centre on 0161 476 0384.
Due to the ongoing pandemic, our services will continue to adapt and adhere to Government guidance and advice.
Our Centre is open for clients who prefer face-to-face appointments
Following the implementation of Covid-19 safety measures, including one-way systems, staggered appointment times and socially distanced layouts, our Centre is currently open for clients who prefer face-to-face support.
Beechwood is offering telephone counselling support for those who are unable or prefer not to travel to the Centre at this time
We are providing support to those who have recently been bereaved due to Covid-19
We are extending our bereavement support to those who have lost a loved one due to Covid-19, and for those who are experiencing amplified emotions when grieving, due to the loneliness of isolation.
Online mindfulness sessions for clients
We are providing our clients with the opportunity to experience Mindfulness and guided meditation sessions from the comfort of their own home. These online sessions offer a safe space for clients to connect with their mind, senses and surroundings, which help with the management of emotions, feelings and mental health during challenging times.
During the pandemic, Beechwood is still accepting self-referrals and referrals for patients from professionals.
We accept referrals for those who:
Have recently been diagnosed with a life-limiting illness
Are children or young people whose parent or guardian has been diagnosed with a life-limiting illness
Are caring for someone with a life-limiting illness
Are experiencing the emotional effects of treatment
Have recently been bereaved and experiencing grief from the loss of a loved one, including those who have been bereaved due to Covid-19
Our charity shops in Heald Green, Chelford Grove and Woodley are currently closed
In the meantime, please keep hold of any unwanted items as we will be keen to accept donations when we can once again reopen.
If you would like to continue keeping up to date with Beechwood’s response to Covid-19, please follow us on our social media or contact us directly.
