Beechwood is a proud recipient of the Queen's Award for Voluntary Service, the highest level of recognition for our volunteers' outstanding work in the community. We wouldn't be able to provide our services without the help of our incredible volunteers.
Being a volunteer is something to be proud of. It can also be incredibly rewarding. As a volunteer at Beechwood, you’ll be giving back to your community by helping us provide care and support to those who need it most.
Our volunteers often find their responsibilities great for boosting morale. It gives many of our volunteers a real sense of purpose to know they’re making a difference to the Beechwood community.
How you can make a difference
There are lots of different ways to volunteer with us at Beechwood. Here are some of our volunteering roles:
Office support volunteer
Patient support volunteer
You don’t need any previous experience or specific qualifications for most of these roles. You also don’t have to make a big commitment, and it can be as flexible as you like. Whether you’re able to give a few hours one day or you want to do a prolonged position, we’re incredibly grateful to have any of your time no matter the scale. All that matters is your willingness to make a difference.
